Careers

As we continue to grow, we will have opportunities for people to join our amazing team. If you have (or are working towards) Level 3 in childcare, please feel free to send your c.v. to our manager, Becky, at info@victoriahousedaynursery.co.uk

AdmissionsPlease contact our manager, Becky, by email info@victoriahousedaynursery.co.uk or feel free to give us a call on 01905 426499.

We can then arrange a mutually convenient time for you to visit the nursery, have a guided tour and meet the team. You will also be able to see what the other children are getting up to.

We can then discuss what days and times you want and arrange some ‘settling in’ sessions.

Our Enhanced Programme

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework sets out the standards that all early years’ providers must meet to ensure that children learn and develop well, that children are kept healthy and safe and that they have the knowledge and skills they need to start school.

On top of this, we are delighted to offer an Enriched Activities Programme to all private fee payers and those on funded hours who wish their child to benefit from a whole range of additional activities. These include, but are not limited to:-

We do charge an additional fee for these, which varies depending on which sessions your child attends (morning/afternoon/all day) and details of this will be provided on request. Please note that the enhanced activities programme is voluntary, but should you decide not to opt in, then although your children will fully participate in the Early Years Foundation curriculum, they will not be able to take part in any of the above activities.

The Tapestry App : Share your childs journey

As we understand leaving your child in our care can be an emotional time. As your child adjusts to experience our nursery, we want to share these times with families. Tapestry has the facilities to share your child’s personal journey, care diary (including meals, sleeps, nappies, and activities), Photographs and videos these are available as when these happen.

Together we would like to show the children how proud we all are of these moments and celebrate their individual achievements. These are what we call at nursery our ‘Proud moments’. So, if outside of nursery your child has perhaps tried something new for the first time (food, drink, standing, walking, talking, using the potty), or maybe enjoyed a trip or activity, please upload a photo to us via the Tapestry app. By doing this your child’s key worker is then able to add this to your child’s learning journey and use this as an interest for them to achieve and enhance their learning here at nursery. EYFS – it is important for parents and early years settings to have a strong and respectful partnership. This sets the scene for children to thrive in the early years.
