We are continuing to improve our lovely spacious outdoor area. Our outdoor environment is split into three: a paved area for children to ride on bikes with their friends and a lovely playhouse for their imaginative play. We have Ivy Corner where the babies from Hatchlings can enjoy the outdoors in most weathers; the bark area where we are planting a vegetable patch and herb garden for the children to enjoy. We will include these fruits of their labour in their lunches, which will teach them the journey of ‘seed to plate’.
Learning by experience on walks and tripsWe also take the children out on many walks around the area, with pushchairs and wrist-straps, and also take them on various trips to the local park or even into town by bus to visit special places, such as Worcester Cathedral at Christmas.
Healthly nutritous food essential for growing minds and bodies
The nursery offers a lovely, healthy 3-week menu for the children’s mealtimes. A morning fruity snack, a nutritious lunch and pudding and high tea in the afternoon. All dietary requirements are catered for. Please let us know if your child has any allergies.

A five star rating we intend to keepThe nursery and the clubs have all been awarded a 5-star, excellent rating for ‘scores on the doors’ by the local authority Environmental Health Department.

Adding, improving and developing new ideasWe are always looking to add and improve our indoor and outdoor spaces including projects like creating a lovely reading corner. Once complete this will have a sail fitted across which will allow the children to access the area in most weathers.
We are developing our own small forest school area which will include a fire pit and a fully trained forest school lead will run our wilderness sessions both here and when we visit Our Lady’s Queen of Peace Primary school once a week where the children can experience even more activities.
